How do I create my first digital pass?
After signing up, navigate to Templates and click 'Create Template'. Choose your pass type (loyalty card, event ticket, coupon, etc.), customize the design, and then generate passes for your customers.
What wallet apps are supported?
OpenPass supports Apple Wallet (iOS) and Google Wallet (Android). Passes are automatically formatted for each platform when downloaded.
How do push notifications work?
When you update a pass (change points, expiry date, etc.), the update is automatically pushed to customers' wallets. They'll receive the updated pass without needing to download it again.
Can I customize the pass design?
Yes! You can customize colors, logos, text fields, and barcodes. Our template editor lets you preview your pass in real-time before publishing.
How do I integrate OpenPass with my existing systems?
OpenPass provides a REST API for creating, updating, and managing passes programmatically. You can find your API key in Settings and refer to our API documentation for integration guides.
What happens when a customer scans a pass?
When scanned, OpenPass validates the pass and can trigger actions like incrementing loyalty points, marking a ticket as used, or redeeming a coupon. You can view all scan events in your dashboard.
Is there a limit on the number of passes?
The free tier includes up to 5 passes. Paid plans offer higher limits based on your needs, starting at 200 passes. Contact us for enterprise solutions with unlimited passes.
How secure is my data?
OpenPass uses industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. We never share your customer data with third parties. All passes are digitally signed to prevent tampering.
